The four trips, exclusively for All Aboard Travel clients, include Pennsylvania’s Amish Country; Florida’s historic St. Augustine and Amelia Island; Savannah’s renowned Southern Hospitality; and a private group booking to Biloxi and New Orleans. The motorcoach tours provides area travelers with an exciting new departure for All Aboard Travel, which previously focused predominantly on pre- and post-cruise vacation packages and added amenities for its cruise clientele.

Lancaster County Amish Heritage – September 27 – October 2, 2015
Colorful fall foliage and quaint Amish countryside scenes will delight travelers taking part in this 5-night trip through Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County. Guests will experience the picturesque scenery, the colorful array of exquisite handmade quilts and unique country crafts at local Amish Quilt and Craft Shops, and visit the Strasburg Railroad – which offers a nostalgic glimpse of railroading’s glorious past. Guests will travel through Pennsylvania Dutch Country as an authentic steam locomotive pulls the group past working farms amid Amish country. This multi-day excursion will also include an energy packed performance of “Joseph” at the Sight & Sound Theater. Sight & Sound’s larger-than-life staging features scenes like the spectacular Egyptian palace, which spans 300 feet and wraps around three sides of the audience.

St. Augustine, Amelia Island and More – January 4-7, 2016
This year marks the 450th anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine, which is the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the continental United States. During this 4-day journey, guests will board a vessel for the Nights of Lights boat cruise. The display of lights was chosen by National Geographic in 2011 and 2012 as one of the 10 best holiday lighting displays in the world. From there, guests will tour Jacksonville – exploring its secret underground tunnels and immersing themselves in its Riverside/Avondale neighborhood, which is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Finally, participants will enjoy the beautiful sights of Amelia Island and Cumberland Island. This excursion will offer an extensive and rich history of both of the islands, with views of wildlife along the way.

Biloxi and New Orleans – February 16-19, 2016 (Private Group Tour)
All Aboard Travel created a special, private group tour for Biloxi, Mississippi, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Highlights of this 4-day excursion include touring Biloxi, Mississippi, which is one of the oldest communities in the country and offers a cultural melting pot of museums, historic sites, and casinos. The trip also includes a tour of Beauvoir, The Jefferson Home – the final home of the only President of the Confederate States of America, Jefferson Davis, which is a 51-acre site and includes the main house shaded by massive live oaks, antebellum outbuildings, a Civil War Museum, a historic cemetery, the Presidential Library and a gift shop. From there, guests will then head to the “Big Easy.” In New Orleans, this group will enjoy an in-depth city tour including stops in the French Quarter, French Market, the old U.S. Mint and The Court of Two Sisters Jazz Brunch. Savannah, St. Simon’s Island and More – March 7-10, 2016
This 4-day tour makes its first stop on St. Simon’s Island, Georgia, This island was voted America’s #1 Favorite Romantic town in 2014 by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Guests will have an opportunity to tour Fort Frederica, which was built in 1736 by James Edward Oglethorpe, as well as Christ Church where John and Charles Wesley held church services under the oak trees for the early settlers. From there, guests will travel to Savannah’s Historic District. Savannah is known as the “Hostess City of the South” and is the first planned city in America. Sights include: a tour along the Riverfront, historic squares called the “Jewels of the South,” a stop at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and more.
