All Aboard Travel’s specialized group travel offerings for early 2017 – on sale now – include:

St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Amelia Island & More – January 9 – January 12, 2017

During this 4-day adventure, guests will enjoy a colonial tour of St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States, with a stop at the Castillo grounds as well as the Mission grounds.  While in Jacksonville, guests will experience the world-class Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, which boasts one of the finest art collections in the Southeast and 2.5 acres of historic gardens that are unique examples of early 20th century garden design. Following a trip to the museum, participants will make their way to beautiful Amelia Island. The tour also includes a Cumberland Island Cruise, complete with opportunities to view wildlife and Fernandina’s shrimp boats, historic Old Towne and Ft. Clinch, and the wild horses of the Cumberland Island.

Savannah, St. Simon’s Island and More – February 20 – 23, 2017

This 4-day sojourn begins in Historic Savannah with a tour of its Historic District. Guests will have time to enjoy the sights adjacent to the Savannah River where old cotton warehouses have been turned into charming shops and restaurants; a stop at Savannah’s Historic Isaiah Davenport House, which is a historic home marking the beginning of Savannah’s historic preservation movement; and a Savannah River Dinner Cruise complete with a locally-inspired menu and entertainment. After Savannah, guests tour St. Simon’s Island and Fort Frederica, which was built by James Edward Oglethorpe in 1736. The island tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Christ Church where John and Charles Wesley held church services under the oak trees for the early settlers.

Biloxi and New Orleans Adventure – March 20 – 23, 2017

Participants will enjoy a 4-day trip to both Biloxi and New Orleans. First settled in 1699, Biloxi is one of the oldest communities in both Mississippi and the United States. After exploring, guests will be treated to the Palace Casino Resort. This excursion also includes the “Big Easy” – the exciting city of New Orleans. Known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene, and spicy cuisine, attendees will enjoy an in-depth city tour featuring The Court of Two Sisters Jazz Brunch. The tour will begin in the French Quarter, where a guide will bring to life the history and architecture of the old Creole city, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, the Pontable row houses and overall view of the Mississippi River flowing by the Port of New Orleans.
